The Senhora do Convento brand was recently purchased by Colt Resources from Canada. Colt will continue to operate the facilities in the tradition of the past and produce both high quality Port and table wines from the surrounding vineyards.

Donald Ziraldo is the managing director of Senhora do Convento. He is known globally as the co-founder of Inniskillin Wines. For Ziraldo's relentless pursuit in establishing Canadian icewine as a internationally recognized luxury brand and establishing the Vintners Quality Alliance (VQA) he was awarded the Order of Canada and was voted Top CEO of the Century by Financial Post Magazine. In 2008, he was awarded the Premio Masi and in 2010, the Folio d'Oro in Italy. Ziraldo recently launched two new icewines: Equifera and Ziraldo icewine. As recently appointed managing director of Senhora do Convento, Ziraldo hopes to bring this unique and beautiful winery to the world stage.

Jean-Hugues Gros has an enology degree from Burgundy and fine-tuned his winemaking skills in France under Domaine Jacques Prieur and Antonin Rodet. Gros has worked making high quality wines in some of the best wine regions of the world including: Bordeaux, Dijon, Burgundy, Champagne, Morocco and Sonoma before falling in love with Portugal and Portuguese wines. He has been crafting award-winning table wines and Ports in the Douro Valley for more than a decade and has been the winemaker at Senhora Do Convento since 1999.

Mr. Nikolas Perrault is a Chartered Financial Analyst who has spent the first 15 years of his career working as an investment executive with some of Canada's largest institutions, He is President, CEO and Director of Colt Resources Inc., a Canadian-based junior exploration company engaged in the acquiring, exploring and developing mineral properties with an emphasis on gold and tungsten. His focus throughout his career has been on small cap resource companies. His work has focused on small companies in the energy and resource sectors in Canada and abroad, which has allowed him to develop an extensive international network. Mr. Perrault holds a Bachelor of Commerce and obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1997.
